Field Installation & Commissioning Guidance
Cut off power supply before installation, insert processor module into base unit dedicated slot and lock. Observe sink/source wiring requirement for DC input terminals; relay loop needs external fuse protection. When expanding 1769 I/O modules, strictly control total backplane current load to avoid overload. Configure high‑speed counter / PWM parameters inside RSLogix500 software according to field encoder and actuator requirement. - Relay channel cannot act: Relay contact burnout caused by long‑time inductive‑load impact, replace base unit.
- Cannot communicate via RS‑232: Check cable wiring, communication protocol parameter mismatch.
- Expansion I/O module invalid: Exceed maximum expansion quantity, backplane current overload.
