Main Functions
- 8‑channel SPDT relay output:Each channel provides normally‑open and normally‑closed contacts, flexible for interlock, backup circuit design. Direct drive contactor coil, solenoid valve, local indicator light without extra intermediate relay。
- Contact actual status feedback:The module reads real relay contact position and sends back to DCS controller, realize closed‑loop monitoring “control command‑actual execution status”. Prevent hidden fault that command sent but relay not act.
- Per‑channel self‑diagnosis:Detect fuse blown, output over‑current, internal relay fault. Fault information includes channel number and fault type, uploaded to control system for alarm.
- LED status indication per channel:
- Green ON:contact closed
- Green OFF:contact open
- Red flash:channel fault (fuse blow / relay failure)
- Parameter configurable via Control Builder software:Support output delay setting, fault latch / auto‑reset mode, channel invert logic.
- Group‑wise galvanic isolation:Reduce cross‑channel interference when mixing AC and DC field loads.
- Easy maintenance:Drawer‑type fuses can be replaced without removing whole module from rack.
Installation & Wiring Requirements
- Install into standard Advant OCS rack slot, latch click to lock; back‑plane bus complete power and communication automatically.
- Keep sufficient cabinet ventilation, avoid corrosive gas, conductive dust, strong magnetic field near module.
- For inductive load (solenoid, contactor coil), install external RC absorption circuit on load side to suppress back‑EMF and extend relay service life.
- Strictly follow load voltage & current rating; do not exceed 5A continuous current for each channel.
- Cabinet grounding must comply with industrial control grounding specification to guarantee isolation performance and anti‑interference capability.
- Wiring torque for screw terminals: 0.8‑1.2 N·m.
