DYPS154C is a 16‑channel non‑contact MOSFET digital output module for ABB Advant OCS DCS rack‑mount system. It converts controller logic commands into DC field drive signals. Different from relay‑type output modules, it adopts solid‑state MOSFET without mechanical contact wear, suitable for high‑frequency switching DC loads. It communicates with the main controller via rack back‑plane ModuleBus bus, supports group‑wise galvanic isolation, comprehensive channel‑level diagnosis and fault alarm function, widely used in power plant, chemical, metallurgy sequential control loops。

Main Functions

  1. 16‑channel solid‑state DC output:MOSFET sink output, no mechanical contact abrasion, support frequent high‑speed switching. Drive DC solenoid valves, small intermediate relays, cabinet indicator lamps, alarm buzzers, field proximity sensor power supply loads。
  2. Group‑wise galvanic isolation:4 channels per isolation group, effectively suppress cross‑group interference when mixing different field power domains.

  3. For inductive DC loads (solenoid coil, relay coil), connect free‑wheeling diode in parallel at load side to absorb back‑EMF, protect MOSFET output circuit.
  4. Strictly follow current rating: single channel shall not exceed 1 A continuous current; total module load shall not exceed 8 A.
  5. Cabinet protective grounding must comply with industrial control grounding specification to guarantee isolation performance and anti‑interference capability.
  6. Do not apply AC voltage to output channels, this module is only for DC load application.
