PFEA112‑20 (3BSE030369R0020) is DIN‑rail mounted high‑performance closed‑loop tension control unit of ABB Pressductor web‑tension system, upgraded model based on PFEA111 seriesABB Group. It supports up to two PFCL / PFTL magnetostrictive tension load‑cells, provides sensor excitation, signal conditioning and A/D conversion. Besides measuring tension value(A, B, A+B, A‑B), it integrates built‑in PID closed‑loop tension control algorithm, can directly output control signal to drive / brake unit. Installation & Wiring Requirements

  2. Connect load‑cell sensor cable, power cable, analog signal and Profibus‑DP bus cable strictly per wiring drawing; separate weak‑signal sensor cables from high‑power cables to reduce electromagnetic interference.
  3. Complete protective grounding according to ABB Pressductor tension‑system specification.
  4. After replacement, perform load‑cell calibration, set PID parameters, complete Profibus‑DP station address configuration; verify measuring, closed‑loop control and bus communication function before commissioning.
  5. Replacement note: sensor calibration and PID parameter download are mandatory after unit replacement. Cannot directly swap with PFEA111 series, PFEA112 has integrated closed‑loop control function.
