PFEA112‑65 (3BSE050091R65) is IP65 / NEMA4 enclosed field‑mount PID tension controller of ABB Pressductor web‑tension system, mechanical enclosure variant of DIN‑rail type PFEA112‑20 (3BSE050091R20)ABB Group. It supports up to two PFCL / PFTL magnetostrictive tension load‑cells, provides sensor excitation, signal conditioning and A/D conversion. It calculates channel‑A, channel‑B, sum(A+B) and difference(A‑B) tension values, integrates auto‑tune PID closed‑loop tension control algorithm, outputs control signal to drive or brake unit.   3. Complete protective grounding according to ABB Pressductor tension‑system specification.
  4. After replacement, perform load‑cell calibration, set PID parameters, complete Profibus‑DP station address configuration; verify measuring, closed‑loop control and bus communication function before commissioning.
  5. Replacement note: sensor calibration and PID parameter download are mandatory after unit replacement. Mechanical housing differs from DIN‑rail PFEA112‑20, cannot direct physical swap.
