The PFTL101A 1.0kN belongs to ABB Millmate web tension measuring system. It is a strain‑gauge‑based tension load cell designed for web tension measurement. Main Functions

Installation Requirement

Mount on rigid supporting base. The roll shaft end shall apply compressive force vertically onto the sensor measuring surface. Bending torque and torsion load are prohibited. Mounting base deformation will directly cause measurement deviation. Use dedicated shielded signal cables and separate them from high‑power cables to minimize electromagnetic interference. Zero‑point and span calibration must be performed at amplifier side after sensor replacement.
