Installation & Maintenance Notes
This device is designed for indoor cabinet installation, avoid direct sunlight, heavy dust, corrosive gas and strong vibration environment. Mounting cut‑out size shall comply with official mechanical drawing. Ensure cabinet door sealing to keep dust and moisture out. All wiring work must be performed with auxiliary control power switched off. CT circuits shall never be opened when primary system is energized, to prevent dangerous high‑voltage induction. Torque all current‑loop and voltage‑loop terminals to specified torque value to avoid poor contact under long‑term operation. Keep proper ventilation space around relay unit; do not block ventilation slots with cables. Configure access‑password permission levels to prevent unauthorized modification of protection settings. Keep firmware version matched with project requirement; back‑up setting files before firmware upgrade. Do not disassemble internal modules on‑site. When hardware failure occurs, replace the whole withdrawable unit. Regularly inspect terminal tightness, indicator status and event log records during routine maintenance.
Common Abnormal Phenomena & Troubleshooting
- No response on local display after power‑on: Check auxiliary control power supply voltage and circuit breaker / fuse status. Inspect rear‑plug connector for loose insertion or pin oxidation. Test with spare withdrawable unit for confirmation.
- Protection false‑tripping or refusing to operate: Verify CT/VT wiring polarity and connection correctness. Cross‑check protection setting‑group in active use. Analyze disturbance‑recording waveform to judge whether fault condition matches setting thresholds. Check binary‑input signal status.
- Communication link intermittent dropout: Inspect Ethernet cable integrity and connector crimp quality. Verify network switch working condition. Check time‑sync status and communication parameter configuration including IP address, protocol mode and GOOSE control‑block setting.
