Main Functions

Generator differential protection, restricted earth‑fault protection, 100 % stator earth‑fault protection, sensitive rotor earth‑fault protection, loss‑of‑excitation protection, out‑of‑step / pole‑slip protection, reverse‑power protection, over‑excitation protection.

Directional / non‑directional phase overcurrent & earth‑fault protection, negative‑sequence overcurrent protection, thermal overload protection, over‑voltage / under‑voltage protection, over‑frequency / under‑frequency protection.

Breaker failure protection, configurable auto‑reclosing and programmable logic functions.

Realize local & remote circuit‑breaker control and bay‑level interlock logic, trip‑circuit supervision.

High‑accuracy measurement for current, voltage, active/reactive power, energy and frequency.

Multiple setting‑group management, sequential‑of‑event logging and COMTRADE disturbance waveform recording.

Continuous hardware self‑diagnosis detects internal module faults and uploads alarm status to local HMI and station control system.

Configuration and commissioning are completed by PCM600 engineering toolManualsLib。

Installation Requirement

Installed in 19‑inch standard rack inside power‑plant protection cabinet. Strictly comply with CT/VT polarity for secondary wiring, prohibit CT secondary open‑circuit risk. Auxiliary power supply shall be kept within rated voltage range. After unit or module replacement, download complete project configuration file. Perform protection logic verification test, breaker trip‑close loop test, binary input/output point‑to‑point signal test and station‑control communication validation. Confirm no hardware self‑diagnosis fault alarms.

Typical Application Scenarios

Main and backup protection for large‑medium‑size generators, generator‑transformer blocks and shunt reactors in thermal power plants, hydropower plants, pumped‑storage power stations and nuclear power plants.
