Installation Requirements
- Mandatory one‑to‑one slot matching with compatible 3500‑61 front‑end module. Mismatched front‑rear part numbers will cause channel reading anomalies or loss of recorder output function.
- Perform insertion‑removal operations under rack power‑off condition. Although the 3500 rack supports front‑module hot‑swap, rear I/O small‑card replacement shall be executed with power cut‑off to prevent signal transient disturbance and accidental recorder output spikes.
- Apply proper torque to field wiring terminals. Loose wiring will lead to temperature signal drift, intermittent readings and false recorder output fluctuations.
- Maintain sufficient cabinet ventilation. Avoid direct exposure to corrosive gas, oil mist and conductive dust, to prevent PCB trace corrosion and terminal oxidation.
- Inspect backplane connector pins before installation. Bent, contaminated or corroded pins may result in partial channel dropout or unstable communication between front‑rear modules.
