Environmental Specifications
‑ Operating Temperature: 0 ℃ ~ +65 ℃ ‑ Storage Temperature: ‑40 ℃ ~ +85 ℃ ‑ Relative Humidity: 5%‑95 %, non‑condensing ‑ Vibration Resistance: Complies with industrial cabinet vibration requirements ‑ EMI Immunity: Built‑in noise filtering for heavy‑industry electromagnetic interference environments
Core Functions
- Multi‑point temperature acquisition: Collect temperature signals from up to six RTD sensors for bearing pad, lube‑oil and winding temperature monitoring on turbines, compressors and generators.
- Channel‑configurable alarm logic: Each channel supports user‑set high‑temperature alert and danger threshold values for over‑heat early‑warning.
- RTD loop diagnostics: Continuously detects sensor open‑circuit, short‑circuit and abnormal resistance conditions, generates loop‑fault diagnostic alarms.
- Signal conversion & external interface: Converts measured temperature values into 0‑10 V analog outputs and relay alarm contacts for connection to DCS, PLC and local alarm annunciators.
- Backplane data exchange: Transmits temperature readings and fault status to 3300 rack controller for system display and event logging.
Installation, Replacement & Critical Warnings
- This rack module is not hot‑swappable. Remove rack power before inserting or removing the module.
- Compatibility warning: ‑ Designed exclusively for 3300‑series rack slots; cannot be used directly within 3500 rack hardware. ‑ Configure sensor type, measurement range and alarm thresholds via 3300 configuration tool according to actual RTD type on site. ‑ RTD field wiring shall use three‑wire sensor cables and route separately from high‑power cables to minimize thermal drift and EMI noise. ‑ Check backplane connector pins for bending, contamination or corrosion before module insertion. ‑ Ensure aluminum front cover is properly fitted for electromagnetic shielding performance.
- After replacement commissioning and verification: ‑ Confirm module powers up without hardware‑fault LED indication. ‑ Apply known resistance simulation to each channel, verify temperature reading responds correctly. ‑ Simulate RTD open‑circuit and short‑circuit, confirm loop‑fault alarm triggers properly. ‑ Verify analog output and relay‑alarm status change when crossing configured temperature thresholds. ‑ Confirm real‑time temperature data can be read on rack display and upper‑level host system.
