- Verify jumper setting on terminal base matches actual transmitter current range. Wrong jumper placement will cause reading offset.
- Use shielded twisted‑pair analog cables. Separate signal wiring from high‑voltage power cables to reduce electromagnetic interference; implement single‑point shield grounding. All channel negative‑return points connect to common A17 terminal of carrier base.
- Complete hardware setup inside Proficy Machine Edition software, enable required diagnostic functions.
- After wiring and configuration download, perform calibrator signal injection test to confirm channel reading accuracy and fault‑diagnostic response.
