This unit must occupy the far‑left dedicated power slot on Series 90‑30 baseplate and will not function when inserted into regular I/O positions. Different hardware revisions are drop‑in compatible during on‑site replacement. A conformal coated version IC693PWR331CA exists for corrosive, high‑humidity cabinet environments. There is an integrated RS‑485 interface on the unit; this channel transfers serial SNP/SNP‑X signals over backplane and depends on rack CPU to complete programming or HMI communication, it does not operate as an independent communication port by itself. An external backup battery connector is reserved, used for preserving system memory content during brief power loss, battery hardware is not included with module delivery.
For input conditions, nominal supply is 24VDC. Run‑mode input covers 2VDC‑30VDC, startup threshold sits at 8VDC. Full‑load input consumption reaches 50W.
