Installation & Wiring Requirements

- Insert IC698ETM001 into any free VME slot of RX7i chassis and fasten module latch. Connect CAT5e shielded Ethernet cables to port 1 / port 2 according to network topology.
- Network cabling comply with manual GFK‑2313. Reliable protective‑ground connection for rack chassis is mandatory.
- After replacement: Power‑on rack power and check front‑panel LED status. Download module network configuration, configure IP addresses, subnet mask and gateway. Validate EGD data exchange, Modbus‑TCP read/write and network redundancy functions if applied.
- Replacement note: Total rack +5 VDC load calculation must include 1.5 A consumption of this module. Full‑system commissioning test is mandatory before putting into service.
