Main Functions
- Terminate field analog signals from pressure, flow and other process transmitters via screw terminals.
- Route field analog input signals to matched I/O core board through 37‑pin ribbon connector.
- Convert analog output signals from controller board to field‑side current‑type control signals for actuators.
- On‑board jumpers configure each channel for voltage‑mode or current‑mode signal according to site requirements.
- Provide signal common ground terminal for field‑side shielding connection.
- Hardware circuit filtering and surge suppression to improve anti‑interference capability for long‑distance field wiring.
- LED status indication:
- Green LED:Terminal board auxiliary power normal
- Yellow LED:Signal channel active
- Red LED:Over‑range / external short‑circuit fault on field channel
Installation & Wiring Requirements
- Cut off rack power supply before replacement. Hot‑swap is forbidden. Take anti‑static measures when handling PCB board.
- Fix the plastic DIN‑rail bracket firmly; ensure reliable locking of JR1 37‑pin connector.
- Set on‑board jumpers strictly according to field signal type (voltage / current) before field wiring.
- Field wiring adopts shielded twisted‑pair; separate analog signal cables from high‑power cables to reduce interference. Connect shielding wire to SCOM ground terminal with shortest wire length.
- Complete protective grounding following GE Mark VI system specification.
- After replacement: double‑check jumper configuration, verify each channel input‑output value, confirm no short‑circuit fault before commissioning.
- Replacement note: Jumper setting must be consistent with original configuration; mis‑jumper will lead to signal measurement error or hardware damage.
