GE IS200TVBAH2ACC TVBA‑2 Vibration Monitoring Terminal Board

IS200TVBAH2ACC (TVBA‑2‑ACC) is conformal‑coated vibration signal conditioning terminal board for GE Speedtronic Mark VI / Mark VIe gas‑steam turbine control system. It is the ACC revision variant of TVBA‑2 series, working together with PVBA / VVIB vibration‑monitor processor packs. It provides physical termination and signal conditioning for proximity probes, accelerometers, seismic velocity sensors and 4‑20 mA vibration transmitters, used for turbine shaft displacement, bearing and casing vibration monitoring. Supports simplex, dual redundant and TMR triple‑modular‑redundant architecture. Hardware fault may result in vibration measurement loss or false vibration alarm. Product status: Obsolete, spare‑part only supply available.

Main Functions

  1. Removable screw‑terminal field termination for shaft proximity probes, bearing accelerometers, seismic velocity sensors and vibration 4‑20 mA transmitters.
  2. Provide isolated‑24 VDC excitation power for proximity probe pre‑amplifiers.
  3. Hardware filtering and conditioning for vibration analog signals, convert field weak vibration signals into standard analog values and transmit to PVBA / VVIB processor pack.
  4. BNC buffered vibration test output ports, supports external vibration instrument access for offline signal verification.
  5. Galvanic isolation between control rack and field‑side sensors, suppress turbine‑hall high‑EMI transient interference.
  6. On‑board channel self‑diagnosis: detect sensor open‑circuit / short‑circuit, excitation power abnormal, ribbon‑cable link failure; upload fault alarm to turbine main controller.
  7. LED status indication:
    • Green LED:Board auxiliary power normal
    • Yellow LED:Ribbon‑cable link communication active
    • Red LED:Vibration‑channel fault / excitation‑power fault / link‑failure alarm

Installation & Wiring Requirements

  1. Cut off rack power supply before replacement. Hot‑swap is forbidden. Strict anti‑static protection when handling PCB board.
  2. Secure panel mounting firmly; ensure all multi‑pin ribbon‑cable connectors fully locked without loose contact.
  3. Field vibration‑sensor wiring strictly follow GE Speedtronic Mark VI / Mark VIe wiring manual; vibration analog cables adopt high‑quality shielded twisted‑pair, strictly separated from high‑power cables; connect shielding to dedicated ground terminal.
  4. Complete protective grounding according to GE Speedtronic system specification.
  5. After replacement: verify ribbon‑cable link status, check each‑channel sensor excitation voltage, verify vibration measurement reading, simulate sensor fault condition before commissioning.
  6. Replacement note: For TMR triple‑redundant system application, hardware consistency of related processor packs shall be verified; full vibration‑monitor‑loop simulation test mandatory before unit put‑into‑service.
