Practical operation hints
Before online download, back‑up complete project source file and controller program archive. Strictly follow safety operating procedure when using signal forcing function during maintenance. Communication between PC and controller relies on SafetyEthernet, set correct IP segment, firewall shall not block related communication port. If original project source is lost, upload program from controller, but annotation and variable comment information cannot be restored.
Common site abnormal performances
- Cannot establish online connection: Check PC IP setting, network cable, controller firmware‑software version matching, firewall interception.
- Program download aborted: Project configuration inconsistent with actual rack hardware layout, firmware version mismatch.
- Offline simulation runs normally, while online logic behaves abnormally: Check hardware channel parameter and safety‑relevant parameter configuration.
- Project cannot open after version upgrade: ELOP II project files have backward compatibility limitation, do not arbitrarily upgrade software version for old site.
