The T8160 is a TMR triple‑modular‑redundancy Regent bus interface module of ICS Triplex Trusted series. Compliant with IEC61508 SIL3 safety standard, it adopts 2‑out‑of‑3 voting architecture and supports hot‑swap. It provides protocol conversion and data bridging between Trusted and legacy Regent controllers, supports active‑standby redundancy and hardware self‑diagnosis.   2. T8160 only works as Trusted‑Regent bridging gateway. It cannot act as CPU and cannot replace T8151B for external DCS/HMI communication.
  3. Follow RS485 industrial wiring specifications for external Regent bus, implement proper grounding for anti‑interference.
  4. Compatible only with dedicated Trusted chassis; not applicable for standard PLC racks.
