1. TMR Triple‑Modular Redundancy Voting: 3‑channel hardware voting. Single‑channel faults are isolated automatically. Hot‑swap online replacement without disturbing Trusted safety‑logic.
2. System Bridging & Protocol Conversion: Acts as gateway for bidirectional data exchange between new‑generation Trusted and legacy Regent controllers, realizes register and I/O point mapping to preserve existing Regent hardware assets.
3. Active‑standby Redundancy: Dual T8160 modules support active‑standby hot‑standby with automatic fail‑over upon fault.
4. Comprehensive Hardware Self‑diagnosis: Real‑time diagnosis for bus communication and channel status, timestamped fault logging. Front‑panel LEDs indicate module and I/O subsystem status.
5. Isolated Data Forwarding: Bus isolation for two systems to prevent fault propagation across systems.

5. Important Notes

1. Firmware version must strictly match T8110C / T8111C processor and Regent‑side firmware. Mismatched firmware will cause bus communication interruption. Verify firmware build number for spare‑part replacement.
2. T8160 only works as Trusted‑Regent bridging gateway. It cannot act as CPU and cannot replace T8151B for external DCS/HMI communication.
3. Follow RS485 industrial wiring specifications for external Regent bus, implement proper grounding for anti‑interference.
4. Compatible only with dedicated Trusted chassis; not applicable for standard PLC racks.
