- T8160 only works as Trusted‑Regent bridging gateway. It cannot act as CPU and cannot replace T8151B for external DCS/HMI communication.
- Follow RS485 industrial wiring specifications for external Regent bus, implement proper grounding for anti‑interference.
- Compatible only with dedicated Trusted chassis; not applicable for standard PLC racks.
