TRLC0NEX 3008 TMR Main Processor Module

The Triconex 3008 serves as the core computing unit for the Invensys Tricon SIS platform, designed with triple modular redundant architecture and certified SIL3. Three independent processor cores execute identical safety logic programs simultaneously and perform 2-out-of-3 voting to guarantee reliable judgment of interlock conditions.
If one processor leg fails, the system only triggers diagnostic warnings and continues running safety functions. Complete processor failure will stop the safety logic execution, and all related I/O channels will switch to predefined safe state. This module is rack-slot mounted and works cooperatively with Tricon series I/O cards. It cannot be fitted to other controller racks. It supports high-speed TriBus internal communication and hardware timestamp event logging for post-failure review.
