Internal circuit boards adopt conformal‑coated treatment for anti‑corrosion performance in turbine‑site surroundings.
Site application scenario
Mainly deployed in thermal‑power, gas‑power and hydropower turbine safety protection cabinets. Continuously monitors real‑time rotating speed of turbine shaft. Once overspeed fault is detected, voting logic triggers trip relay to shut down turbine rapidly, preventing mechanical damage. Internal single‑channel fault triggers alarm, system can still keep running by voting mechanism. Whole‑unit failure will lose overspeed protection function. After replacement, complete MPU sensor wiring check, download matching configuration parameters, execute overspeed simulation test, verify trip relay action and 4‑20mA speed output before commissioning.
Installation & maintenance notes
Cut off unit power supply before internal module replacement. Take strict anti‑static protection during handling. MPU speed‑sensor signal cables adopt shielded twisted‑pair, keep separated from high‑power cables to reduce electromagnetic interference. Backup complete configuration and fault log archive before hardware swap. Regularly execute automatic overspeed test as per turbine maintenance specification. On‑site component‑level repair for inner circuit boards is prohibited; replace corresponding sub‑module or complete unit under permanent hardware damage.
Common site fault performances
- System overspeed false‑trip alarm: Check MPU sensor installation gap, cable shielding and grounding condition.
- Speed reading zero or large deviation: Inspect MPU pickup coil integrity and terminal connection tightness.
- Communication cannot connect with upper DCS: Verify Modbus‑RTU address, baud‑rate and bus termination setting.
- Channel fault alarm: Re‑seat inner channel module, check cabinet vibration and temperature environment.
