Installation & Wiring Requirements
- Power off industrial workstation completely before installation; insert PU516 into available 5V PCI slot, fasten bracket screw firmly. Hot‑swap is strictly forbidden.
- Connect MB300 bus cable to 15‑pin D‑Sub connector; follow MB300 bus wiring specification, install correct terminal resistor at bus end point.
- Workstation chassis protective grounding must comply with ABB Advant OCS system grounding specification to improve anti‑interference performance.
- After replacement, install matched RTA driver and firmware corresponding to Advant OCS software version; verify MB300 bus communication status.
- Replacement note: Cannot be used in pure 3.3V PCI slot; if replace with PU516A, confirm workstation PCI slot supports 3.3V/5V mixed signal, and match whole‑system driver firmware.
