Site application scenario

Mainly deployed in thermal power plant Ovation DCS cabinets. Receives switching commands from electronic module, outputs relay contact signals to drive on‑site alarms, solenoid valves and auxiliary interlock loops. Base module damage will cause abnormal signal transmission of related channels. After replacement, install together with matched electronic module, check terminal wiring tightness, verify each channel output action before commissioning.

Installation & maintenance notes

Cut off field side loop power before replacement. Anti‑static protection is required during handling. Do not bend rear connector pins. Field relay signal cables adopt shielded wires, keep separated from high‑power cables to reduce electromagnetic interference. Check terminal oxidation and looseness during routine maintenance, poor contact will trigger intermittent signal faults. On‑site component‑level repair is prohibited, replace complete base module when permanent hardware damage occurs.

Common site fault performances

1. Individual channel cannot output relay action: Check field load and terminal condition, inspect contact circuit of base module.
2. Partial channel signal unstable: Check terminal tightening status, eliminate external interference source.
3. Communication failure between base and electronic module: Inspect docking connector contact condition.

4. Multiple channels no response: Verify rack backplane power supply and hardware pairing correctness.
